XBIZ Retreat Winter Edition Set for Jan. 11-15

LOS ANGELES — The winter edition of XBIZ Retreat, the premier all-inclusive  B2B event for the adult retail industry, is set to make its in-person return Jan. 11-15 at the W Hollywood.

The 2023 edition of XBIZ Retreat will once again offer its signature schedule of curated meetings and exclusive networking socials, along with a VIP experience that includes cocktail mixers, gourmet dinners and evening entertainment. Participants of the flagship January edition of XBIZ Retreat, presented by Satisfyer, also get access to a multitude of festivities surrounding “XBIZ week,” including the annual XBIZ Honors ceremony on Jan. 14, to be hosted by industry vets Megan Swartz and Adam Hasner.

Also taking place during XBIZ Retreat is the return of X3 Expo, which will showcase the biggest lineup of adult creators  and marquee brands for a tantalizing mashup of all things sexy at the historic Hollywood Palladium.

The annual star-studded XBIZ Awards on Jan. 15 will wrap up the January events series, while XBIZ Retreat participants will be treated to one final day of meetings and a farewell brunch on day five of the event.

This year, XBIZ Retreat hosted its first in-person gatherings in Miami and Berlin after more than two years. Vendors and buyers shared their experiences at the events.

“I had the chance to meet new clients and make new friends in a very intimate and constructive way, which will certainly support the growth of the Orgie brand around the world,” Orgie Company Export Manager Massimo Artioli said about last month’s XBIZ Retreat in Berlin.

Florian Wittich, senior sales and business development manager for Pipedream Products also praised XBIZ Retreat Berlin for offering fertile ground for business.

“I personally really enjoyed the private and focused meetings,” he said. “One can have quiet, detailed talks, and the evening events were great and helped to build a good network.”

ElectraStim Marketing Manager Claire Blakeborough said, “We made some really interesting new contacts and solidified pre-existing relationships. Mainly it was really nice to get back out in Europe with our industry pals after so long apart!”

Michelle Liss, the CEO of Maxtasy, remarked that the Miami edition of XBIZ Retreat that was held in May was “extraordinary.”

“I am just launching and without this show, I wouldn't have been able to get my message out there and showcase my product,” she said.

Phoebe Grott, Nalpac’s director of marketing, said that the one-on-one meetings that are at the core of XBIZ Retreat “are a great way to go beyond product and discuss business development and foster relationships.”

Eldorado Purchasing Director Jon Vogt noted, “Reconnecting with current partners face-to-face is important and this offered us the chance to do that, as well as meeting new potential suppliers , to keep our stocks fresh with the newest items.”
