LONDON — Joybear Pictures' recent feature, “SexTech,” directed by Ed & Sam, presents five documentary-style scenarios that examine the effects of technology on relationships.
Joybear Pictures Founder and CEO Justin Santos enthused about the release.
"From remote-activated toys and game development, to algorithms pairing aural stimulation to sexual desire, these fantasy scenes pave the way for how couples can elevate their connection in the bedroom," he said.
The plot of “SexTech” is centered around The Hub, a startup studying how modern technology impacts human interactions. Belle O’Hara plays Beth, the narrator of a documentary-style series of the kind popular on British television.
“The world has changed since simple rubber dildos and pocket rockets gained popularity,” says Beth in the film’s introduction. “In the future, there will be sex robots, and maybe even orgasm implants.”
The faux documentary then presents stories with a familiar storyline — couples experiencing relationship issues — but with a technological twist.
"SexTech" also features Honour May, Viktoria Quinn, Frank Rock, Loveday, Eva Ray, Marcus Quillan, Satine Spark and Chris Cobalt.
