FSC Board of Directors Election Process Begins on Sunday

LOS ANGELES — The election process for the Free Speech Coalition board of directors 2023-24 term will begin on Sunday.

In order to participate in this election, voters and nominees must be FSC members in good standing as of Nov. 20, 2022.

Board members are expected to govern and grow the organization through their two-year term, attend bimonthly board meetings, assist with fundraising and initiatives, and serve as ambassadors for FSC within the adult community.

Key Dates and Requirements for Participation

Nov. 20: Record Date and Nominations Begin

Date by which you must be a Free Speech Coalition member in good standing in order to participate in the election either as a voter or a nominee. (Those who wish to become FSC members can do so here. Existing members who wish to confirm their active membership status for voting and nominations can do so here.)

Two nominations from active FSC members are required in order to get on the election ballot. Individuals are permitted to nominate themselves. Nominations close at midnight on the night of Dec. 3.

Dec. 11: Election Begins

Election for open seats on the board begins on Dec. 11 and ends at midnight on the night of Dec. 17. Results of the election will be announced in the week following the close of the election.
