SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon/NakedSword has earned a groundbreaking 2023 XBIZ Awards nomination as the first gay company to be honored in the all-inclusive category "Studio of the Year."
Additionally, the NakedSword Originals action-adventure "Get. Away." is the first gay title to be cited for "Best Cinematography."
"We’ve always known we had the goods," said Falcon/NakedSword president and CEO Tim Valenti. "We’re proud of XBIZ for bravely coming out and nominating a gay studio in these categories."
The company's brands received 23 nods overall, including citations for FalconStudios.com, NakedSword.com and RagingStallion.com as "Gay Site of the Year."
"Body & Sol" and "Falcon Live: 4 the Fans" from Falcon, "Bred & Breakfast: The Come Inn" from NakedSword Originals, and "Ride or Die," "Dirty 30 Bareback Birthday" and "Scrum: Balls to the Wall" from Raging Stallion each received nods.
Lead directors Marc MacNamara, Tony Dimarco and Steve Cruz were each nominated for "Director of the Year" under the branch of gay categories, and exclusives Cade Maddox, Max Konnor, Beau Butler and Cole Connor are among the contenders for "Gay Performer of the Year."
The 2023 XBIZ Awards will crown the best-of-the-best in adult Sunday, Jan. 15 at the historic Hollywood Palladium; in keeping with tradition, select award categories under Web & Technology, Pleasure Products and Retail will be presented as part of the annual XBIZ Honors ceremonies.
