CalExotics Named 'Best in Business' by Inc. Magazine

ONTARIO, Calif. — CalExotics has been named “Best in Business” in the Health and Wellness category by Inc. Magazine.

Inc.’s Best in Business Awards honor “companies that have made an extraordinary impact in their fields and on society.”

“We are thrilled to be named ‘Best in Business’ by Inc. Magazine,” said Susan Colvin, founder, and CEO of CalExotics. “This honorable recognition helps establish CalExotics as a leader in the sexual health and wellness category. It also further supports that sexual health and wellness is an essential part of enhancing people’s lives.”

CalExotics's products, a rep noted, have led the way in establishing the sexual health and wellness category.

"The standard of excellence that is incorporated in every CalExotic product manufactured has assisted thousands with easing painful intercourse with the use of various dilators," the rep said. "CalExotics Kegel exercise kits have assisted in strengthening the pelvic floor for many women enhancing their most intimate moments. Specific CalExotics massagers have been introduced to the assortment to increase circulation and enhance intimacy. The goal for CalExotics continues: to bring sexual health and wellness to the forefront and to encourage open dialogue around a very sensitive subject."

Colvin added, “As the first female founder of a novelty company, prioritizing sexual health and wellness has been a critical part of the company. What was once a taboo subject is now, after 30 years, an important part of many conversations. I have seen an incredible shift in mainstream industries of increased awareness. I am so proud to have been a pioneer in this category of the business. The honorable distinction from Inc. Magazine only adds to my excitement and reaffirms my commitment to enhancing and improving lives.”

CalExotics is one of three companies that have been recognized as leaders in the wellness category, but is the only company from the adult industry to receive this accolade.

“This award not only supports CalExotics, but puts a spotlight on the adult industry and the important strides that have been made to improve the lives of many,” Colvin concluded.

A complete list of winners can be found in the winter issue of Inc. magazine, on newsstands Dec. 13, and at Inc.com.
