LAS VEGAS — SWAID Las Vegas is seeking contributions this holiday season to provide aid to sex workers in need.
The organization has official 501(c)(3) non-profit status, which means donations to SWAID are tax-deductible.
“You can help make the holiday season better for at-risk sex workers with your tax-deductible donation to SWAID,” said performer Codi Vore, one of SWAID’s founders. “The donations we receive make a significant impact in the lives of sex workers by allowing us to provide cash grants to help with bills and groceries, as well as provide harm reduction supplies and vital aid like contraceptives.”
SWAID is run by sex workers. The organization’s primary goal is “getting direct financial aid out as quickly and compassionately as possible, with 100% of contribution funds going straight to sex workers who need them,” a rep noted. “As the organization continues to expand, new sponsors and contributors are important to help meet the demand for assistance.”
Additional SWAID founders include adult performers Summer Hart, Xander Corvus, Queen Ava, Tegan Trex and Div.
Vore added, “The holidays have always been about giving and we are excited to work with any companies or individuals with an interest in keeping sex workers fed, safe and able to provide for themselves and their families, both over the holidays and beyond.”
Anyone interested in donating to SWAID Las Vegas can do so here.
