MIAMI — CLEAR has updated its testing subscription service to include oral and rectal Ct/Ng tests and unlimited testing.
Performers with a CLEAR Pass subscription, a rep explained, will be able to test “as much as they want, as often as they wish, and can sign up and schedule tests whenever they want, with no limits on how many tests or how often.”
CLEAR Operations Manager Kian Mallari said, “The response from performers to our original CLEAR Pass was extremely positive, and lots of people signed up. When PASS announced that the industry's full panel would now include Ct/Ng swabs, we knew we had to revamp CLEAR Pass, but we wanted to make it even better.”
Ct/Ng tests will be added to the subscription starting Jan. 1.
Mallari added that the lab spent a great deal of time considering how to make testing more affordable for the industry. “We think the answer is bundling testing with a monthly subscription. We live in a world where we subscribe to Amazon Prime, Spotify, and even food delivery, so why not testing?”
The current version of CLEAR Pass is available on the company’s mobile app, and performers can use it immediately upon signing up.
This single-lab subscription service should not be confused with the similarly named, industry-wide PASS system, to which CLEAR currently also reports results.
