LOS ANGELES — COTR has hired sex journalist Bobby Box as a product educator and brand ambassador.
Box’s credits include writing for publications like Them, Elle, Billboard, Daily Beast, AskMen and The Advocate. He is a former contributing editor at Playboy, where he held the position of Playboy Advisor, and currently writes the popular sex column “Gay Sex Ed” for Grindr. He also co-hosts “Bad in Bed: The Queer Sex Podcast” with fellow journalist and frequent COTR education contributor Gabrielle Kassel.
“For a long time, I have been a fan of b-Vibe and COTR's overarching goal of promoting sex positivity and inclusivity through its pleasure products,” Box said. “I am thrilled to join forces with this team and take our mission to the next level.”
A rep noted that Box “has amassed a large audience through his own social media channels, becoming a recognized voice on sex in the community,” while COTR founder and CEO Alicia Sinclair Rosen enthused that Box’s proven dedication to spreading sexual education makes him an invaluable addition.
“Bobby’s values and goals perfectly align with everything that we stand for at COTR, and I couldn’t be happier to have him on our team,” Sinclair Rosen said. “I can’t wait for our retail partners and the legions of fans of our products to gain insight from our new brand ambassador and product educator.”
