Vendo Launches Charitable Initiative

BARCELONA — Vendo has selected Barcelona children's hospital Sant Joan de Déu (SJD) as the first recipient of a Vendo Care Foundation donation.

The foundation was recently launched to support the company’s principle that "living is giving."

“The entire Vendo team and I could not be more enthusiastic to give back to our community and partner with such a worthy cause,” said CEO Mitch Platt. “We chose SJD after a companywide event, where Vendo staff were given an opportunity to present a cause that they wanted to support. After a full day of team building and presentations, we voted for SJD.”

This collaborative process, Platt added, allowed the Vendo team to share personal stories and learn more about each other, as well as learn about many other organizations.

“As Vendo continues to grow, we look forward to making more connections with our local community,” Platt said. “Let's stay connected.”
