Rock Candy Toys to Honor 'Ladies of the Industry' for Women's History Month

LOS ANGELES  — Rock Candy Toys will honor several female-identifying industry leaders during its third annual Ladies of the Industry celebration commemorating Women’s History Month.

The 2023 honorees include professionals throughout adult retail, business consulting, digital media and sexual health education. Each “Lady of the Industry” will be featured in a series of tribute posts on Rock Candy’s social media channels throughout March.

Tomorrow’s tribute will spotlight Lea Rich, the general buyer for the Deja Vu Love Boutique in El Cajon, California.

Rock Candy Toys Sales Director and 2023 XBIZ Community Figure of the Year Tracy Leone said, “This industry is stacked with brilliant and kind women who are constantly raising the bar in terms of work ethic and innovation.”

Women’s History Month, Leone added, is an ongoing opportunity to salute “the women who are paving the way for future generations of adult industry professionals, while creating a positive impact within our community and beyond.”

Ladies of the Industry launched in 2021. Past honorees have spanned production, distribution, media publishing and retail, including adult film director Jacky St. James, industry veteran Kim Airs, East Coast News VP Lynda Mort, Sheila Hostler of Sactacular Holdings LLC and Shelanda Brown Jones of Adam & Eve, to name a few.

“It is our pleasure to recognize this year’s diverse lineup of empowering women who inspire their peers just by being their true, authentic selves,” Leone declared.

In addition to a dedicated tribute on Rock Candy’s social media channels, each honoree will receive a gift on behalf of the Rock Candy team as a token of appreciation.

For more information, follow Rock Candy on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and turn on account notifications to receive alerts when each tribute is posted.
