LOS ANGELES — French star Dorian Del Isla has debuted “American Rendez-Vous,” a new series based on fictional depictions of his life in the United States.
Del Isla and his performer wife Cassie relocated from France to Los Angeles three years ago. In the series, "the European hunk stages his playboy lifestyle caught in a vice between ardent Angelenas and cheeky Valley girls," said a rep.
Del Isla elaborated on the concept.
“When I settled here, I did it for my career but also to enjoy this place,” said Del Isla. “Libertine parties, dating, hooking up, those aspects are an integral part of my life in the United States. So ‘American Rendez-vous’ is kind of a private journal staged through the lens of fiction.”
"We chose to emphasize the American working-class setting and background," he continued. "No luxury cars nor pearl necklace bourgeoises."
The debut installments of “American Rendez-Vous” are streaming on JacquieEtMichelTV.
