Elevated X to Release Software Update Complying With Twitter Policy Change

LOS ANGELES — Elevated X will release a software update for its website management platforms in response to a recent policy Twitter policy change on April 24.

The change went into effect on April 6, blocking third-party apps from reading Twitter account data and posting automated Tweets — forcing app users to sign up for developer accounts and choose between free and paid tiers with different usage allowances. The new Elevated X software update complies with the new policy.

"Recognizing the popularity of its automated-Twitter functionality and the importance of Twitter integration to its website clients' promotional efforts, Elevated X has taken swift action to comply with Twitter's new methods," said a rep. "Over the past two weeks, the company has diligently redeveloped its Twitter features to ensure seamless integration with the social media platform's updated policies."

Elevated X Marketing Director Heather K. elaborated on the update.

"We understand the significance of Twitter integration for our clients and the impact of the recent policy change on their promotional efforts," she said. "As a customer-centric company, we have taken immediate action to update our software and provide clear instructions to our users on how to sign up for Twitter Developer accounts and select the appropriate option based on their needs."

Those instructions have been sent to all Elevated X and ELXComplete platform users, and are available in the admin panel.

"It is important to note that clients who only display a Twitter widget on their site without auto-Tweeting are not required to sign up for a Twitter Developer account at this time, in accordance with Twitter's use policies and free-use restrictions," the rep added.
