ASACP Taps Michael McGrady, Jr. as Social Media Manager

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has hired Michael McGrady, Jr. as its new social media manager.

McGrady runs the adult industry consultancies MyAdultSEO and MyAdultIntel, and has written B2B articles on the industry for Future of Sex, Techdirt and Inside Sources, among tothers.

"Based in Colorado, McGrady is a critically-acclaimed journalist and commentator covering the legal and business side of the adult entertainment industry," said a rep.

ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning enthused about McGrady.

"ASACP welcomes Michael to the team and we look forward to a productive relationship," he said. "His experience and insights will help us spread the word about the importance of keeping children out of and away from adult entertainment."

McGrady returned the praise.

"I am thrilled to join the team," he said. "I do so at a very important time for the adult entertainment industry as it continues to lead the way in child protection, despite criticisms from the anti-pornography movement and politicians who simply don’t understand our industry."

He will manage the organization's social media and digital communications channels, as well as providing content for the ASACP blog.

"ASACP is a premier organization in the private-public apparatus engaged in advocating child protection and prevention," McGrady added. "I’m honored to work for this organization and advance our mission of being a leading partner with groups like the National Center for Missing and Exploitation Children and law enforcement agencies all over the world."
