CLEAR Lowers Price for Full Panel, Covers Trich Test

LOS ANGELES — CLEAR has lowered the cost of its performer panel from $229 to $209.

This price reduction is effective immediately at CLEAR's company-owned locations in Miami, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, as well as its growing network of partner locations in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Colorado and New Jersey.

The company's innovations in testing protocols, a rep explained, “enabled a reduction in its own cost per test while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of its results, which the community has come to trust and rely on.”

CLEAR's technical supervisor, Kathy Crankshaw, said that since the lab opened its first location in August, CLEAR personnel have been working toward making the industry panel more accessible.

“This reduction could only have been achieved through the scaling of our operations in the past several months and innovations around processing tests more efficiently,” she noted.

CLEAR also announced it has decided to absorb the cost of the Trichomonas vaginalis or "Trich" test, an essential screening that is not widely available at affordable prices.

CLEAR CEO Humberto Buniotto said, “There are very few labs in the country that can run this panel at an affordable price, which is why the industry has struggled to find labs to compete in the industry. We are extremely proud of what we’ve done for the industry in the last few months, and that this latest development puts us in a position to pass those savings onto performers.”
