LELO Launches Makeup Line With 'Read My Lips' Campaign

LOS ANGELES — LELO has debuted a line of lipsticks with a marketing campaign themed "Read My Lips."

"LELO’s first beauty venture is made up of two luxury matte lipsticks, Stylo and Liquid, both of which come in five showstopping shades — from sexy reds to subtle nudes," said a rep. "With shades bearing names such as Notorious, One Night Stand, Booty Call, Come on Over, Nymph and Screwed, each product nods to LELO’s roots in sexual freedom."

The company is billing the marketing campaign as "the most explicit cosmetics advert released."

"'Read My Lips' may just be the filthiest beauty product announcement of all time, but the brand behind it won’t reveal exactly why — leaving it up to the viewer’s interpretation," the rep continued.

LELO CMO Luka Matutinovi enthused about the campaign.

"For our first cosmetics campaign, we wanted to let our product, and lips, do the talking," Matutinovi said. "'Read My Lips' is playful, provocative and uninhibited. We see three beautiful, confident women simply using their lips to express desire — and there is nothing shocking about that."
