LOS ANGELES — PASS has postponed its special town hall event on Mycoplasma genitalium (aka Mgen), which was scheduled for today at 11:00 a.m. PDT.
The meeting will now be held Friday, Sept. 8 at 11:00 a.m. PDT.
All members of the adult industry are invited to the discussion with PASS Executive Director Ian O’Brien, Medical Director Jamey Bell and others, who will share an update on Mgen within the industry and PASS' new initiatives to combat it.
O'Brien described Mgen as "a tricky bacteria, one that will require novel approaches to fully address."
“One thing is certain,” he added. “We are going to need to get as much of the industry as we can on the same page. We have an incredible team of sexual health and other infectious disease experts who have been hard at work developing a solution that meets the needs of the industry.”
The PASS town hall event will take place via Zoom. Participants can register for the event here.
