LOS ANGELES — HPPPA, the Home Pleasure Party Plan Association, has resumed business after a year-long hiatus and rebranded as HPPPA 2.0.
“After several life-changing events, HPPPA took a step back to regroup and reevaluate its position in this ever-changing industry,” said a rep. “We have developed a new game plan to hit the ground running. We are working on different business development approaches to help our small businesses grow to meet the demands of our consumers.
“We are excited to reenter the industry with our motto, ‘HPPPA 2.0: Back with a Vengeance,’” the rep added.
As HPPPA heads into 2024, which will mark its 19th anniversary of serving as a resource for information and networking, it has opened HPPPA 2.0 to include party plan owners and sex educators such as Lisa Lawless, Sunny Megatron, Linnea Marie, Marjha Hunt, Ngozi D.Walker-Tibbs and Debra Shade, among others.
“Our goal is to keep abreast of the changes in the industry, our business models and building on the sexual health and wellness communities,” the rep explained. “We will continue having one-on-one interactions with manufacturers, enabling us to strengthen our working relationships and develop new opportunities with the industry and consumers.”
The new iteration of HPPPA is no longer a membership organization, and will conduct its business via Zoom and a private Facebook group.
