LOS ANGELES — Sex-ed platform Beducated is spotlighting the “Karma Sutra” in a new article.
“Despite the fact that ‘Kama Sutra’ was written around the 3rd or 4th century CE, it can still offer valuable insights into life,” said platform sex coach Julia Svirid. “That’s why it is so much more than just a sex book or ancient pornography, as it is often perceived by the Western world.”
“The Kama Sutra teaches about the importance of pursuing pleasure (kama) but within the limits of ethical and moral duties (dharma),” added Svirid. “It emphasizes the importance for both partners to experience pleasure equally. Emotional connection and communication between partners are important aspects of a fulfilling sex life.”
