Lioness Releases Orgasm Data From Year-Long Study

OAKLAND, Calif. — Lioness has released "Pleasure Wrapped," a collection of orgasm data compiled from a year-long study utilizing the company's Smart Vibrator.

"Since its inception in 2015, Lioness has been committed to furthering the research around female sexual pleasure and wellness," said a rep. "Through the years, its founder and CEO, Anna Lee, has used her platform to lead conversations and discussions around findings that use the Lioness Smart Vibrator to gather data. Being the world’s first and only smart vibrator of its kind, the Lioness uses biofeedback sensors and AI to measure orgasm data through involuntary pelvic floor contractions."

For example, the study found that over the past year, orgasms lasted an average of 24.01 seconds, with the average time to the first orgasm during masturbation being four minutes and 19 seconds, with an average strength of 64.88 gF (gram force).

"We are presenting this [orgasm] data in a way that has never been done before and we’re really excited to share it with the world," said Lee. "We like to say ‘knowledge is pleasure,’ and we see an opportunity with this yearly collection of 'O' data to see pleasure in a different light and to give people with vulvas their stage to do it for science."

The data will be available to the public tomorrow at Lioness.io.
