MONTREAL — Disruptive Films is touting the studio’s successes and the recognition that they have received throughout the year.
Some studio highlights include five XBIZ nominations, ranging in categories from Gay Feature of the Year to Best Editing and Best Screenplay.
“These achievements are a testament to the collaborative excellence of this team,” said screenwriter Taylor Saracen. “We’re proud of what we’ve achieved this year. We’ve taken a lot of risks and enjoyed the creative process.”
Director Conrad Parker enthused about the studio’s accomplishments.
“It’s unique to have the opportunity to tell intense stories with extraordinary actors,” said Parker. “‘Stockholm,’ starring the incomparable Jayden Marcos and Adam Ramzi, was an emotional canvas meticulously colored; I’m proud that I was able to bring this exceptional story to screen.”
Executive producer/director/brand manager Jessica Jasmin also expressed appreciation.
“Having the opportunity to solo-direct several scenes for a brand I manage has been a dream,” she said. “As much as I loved having sole control over the vision of those scenes, I had the best time working with co-directors Michael Vegas and Siouxsie Q on the feature ‘For You, I Will.’”
Vegas and Siouxsie Q also reflected on their series “Rod’s Room.”
“Getting to bring high-fashion looks, mainstream modeling and the most raw, authentic hardcore sex possible to our viewers was really a great pleasure,” they said. “Rumors of the experience spread quickly, so we regularly encounter models who ask when it will be their turn to have a chance to visit ‘Rod's Room.’ That’s a great feeling.”
