John Legendary Featured in MAX Series 'Rap Sh!t'

LOS ANGELES — John Legendary is featured in an episode of Issa Rae’s mainstream MAX comedy-drama “Rap Sh!t”

Legendary appears in the sixth episode of the series’ just-released second season, “U-Turn,” as a man in the middle of a motel entanglement with a sex worker when the character Chastity (Jonica Booth) kicks in the door to break up his private party.

“My recent experience shooting for 'Rap Sh!t' was nothing short of extraordinary, marking one of the most fulfilling moments of my life,” said Legendary. “This unexpected opportunity allowed me to envision a future in the television and film industry, fueling my ambition to pursue more prominent roles.”

Legendary called being on set “a surreal experience.”

“I made a conscious effort to savor every moment,” he added. “I embraced the chance to learn, grow and contribute — grateful for the opportunity to work alongside talented industry professionals. Reflecting on this experience, I am proud of what I accomplished and excited about the possibilities that lie ahead in the world of television and film.”
