LOS ANGELES — X3 Expo has unveiled the lineup of movie screenings taking place at the 2024 edition of the event this week, a roster that features XBIZ Award-nominated titles “Feed Me,” “Primary 3,” “Reckless,” “Machine Gunner” and “Influence: Vanna Bardot” in R-rated versions edited exclusively for the event by their respective directors and studios.
Adult Time’s “Feed Me” is a possession horror film that pays homage to 1980s horror classics with over-the-top practical special effects.
In the feature, Sally (Lulu Chu), an ordinary woman, finds herself consumed by an otherworldly presence, leading to an eerie transformation and insatiable hunger. With the help of Dr. Petit (Tommy Pistol), Sister Dorothy (Ginger Lynn), and her best friend Heather (September Reign), Sally embarks on a treacherous journey to regain control over her existence and feed the monster inside before it devours her.
“As a devoted horror fan, I find projects like 'Feed Me' incredibly motivating to work on,” said director Ricky Greenwood. “It is a truly distinctive addition to the adult entertainment landscape and unlike anything I have ever worked on before. Collaborating with Adult Time and Gamma Films on this project has been a thrill, and Adult Time is the ideal platform to showcase unconventional films like this.”
ERIKALUST’s “Primary 3” is the third and final season of director Casey Calvert's award-winning series. Nominated for 10 XBIZ Awards this year, “Primary” is a character-driven drama about the intricacies, complications and joys surrounding polyamorous and alternative relationship structures.
The ensemble cast is led by Kira Noir, Derrick Pierce, Victoria Voxxx, Siri Dahl, Codey Steele, Anal Foxxx and Casey Calvert. This season also includes Ryan Keely, Vanessa Vega, Michael Vegas and Leo Vice.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to screen one of my films this year at X3 Expo,” Calvert said. “It's always such a pleasure to bring my unique filmmaking style to the fans and open their minds to what adult cinema can look like. Most of the leading cast will be joining me for the screening as well.”
Calvert called the “Primary 3” shoot a return to her roots, after the success and accolades for her feature “Going Up” last year.
“I wanted to take everything I learned and bring it back to the world of ‘Primary,’” she explained. “For three seasons, we've watched these people grow and change and their relationships develop. Even though it's time for me to move on, I'll miss them.”
Wicked Pictures’ “Reckless” presents a crime saga that defies easy categorization. “Reckless” is the story of racing enthusiast and tech genius Silas Knight — played by Seth Gamble, performing his first lead in a feature he wrote and directed — and the milieu of greed and betrayal he’s enmeshed in after designing a chip that radically improves car performance.
It seems that everyone wants what Knight has, from his true love Harlow Knight (Ivy Wolfe) and ex-partner/rival Brooke Michaels (Kenna James) to corrupt detective Matteo Bennett (Lexington Steele) and the psychotic Dr. Joseph Curwen — last seen in Gamble’s “Deranged” and once again embodied with diabolical flair by Tommy Pistol.
“This ensemble is truly a bucket-list lineup of wonderful performers,” said Gamble. "I think the guiding principle for me in casting is that I want to seize the moment and work with the people I see as the best possible fit for their characters. Because the true excitement comes from the performers. That gives you the real drama. Whatever I can do with the camera, that's icing on the cake.”
Gamble also enthused about Wolfe, his main co-star in Reckless.
“Ivy Wolfe truly excelled in her role as Harlow Knight,” he said. “The chemistry and passion we shared while working together were beyond words. She possesses that special quality that shines on camera, particularly in her delivery of dialogue. The sex is filled with intense intimacy. It evoked a genuine vulnerability in both of us, creating a deeply impactful experience.
“I want to thank the many people who worked tirelessly to make 'Reckless' what it is,” Gamble concluded. “I truly cannot sing the praises of this cast and crew enough. Just know that from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate every single person that has worked on creating this boundary-pushing project.”
Digital Playground’s “Machine Gunner,” also directed by Ricky Greenwood, is a story of black-ops soldiers willing to get dirty and deploy every weapon at their disposal — including unconventional ones — to get the job done.
The film stars Kira Noir as squad leader Nikki Ransom, whose clandestine paramilitary unit is tasked with tracking down and capturing disgraced colonel Joe Riggs (Alex Jones). To complicate matters, Riggs and Ransom have a history that risks jeopardizing the assignment. When Ransom’s squad is ambushed by Riggs’ rogue militia, they’re forced to use rough tactics and an arsenal of firearms to fight and fuck their way through enemy lines to complete their explosive, shootout-filled mission.
“I’m happy that Digital Playground allowed me to do this movie,” Greenwood offered. “It was very challenging on many levels, but it was definitely rewarding. I’ve never directed a film quite like this, and I’m very proud of this film. It’s also a testament to my friendship with Robby D, and he was inspirational in making this film.”
Adult Time's "How Women Orgasm" is an erotic docuseries created in 2020 by Bree Mills, in which women from across the adult industry discuss their experiences with female pleasure and masturbation, and the importance of building sexual confidence.
In celebration of this award-winning series, Adult Time has cut an exclusive 30-minute documentary featuring interview highlights from 10 participants: Adult Time ambassadors Lauren Phillips, Siri Dahl, Leana Lovings and Lexi Luna, as well as Victoria Voxxx, Casey Calvert, Alexis Tae, Avery Black, Brittney Kade and Alison Rey — several of whom will also join the series creator for a Q&A following the screening.
Project mastermind Mills said, “What I love the most about about this project is how we have been able to bring together women from every side of the adult community to share their honest and inspiring insights about female pleasure and sexual expression.”
Vixen Media Group's "Influence: Vanna Bardot" is an all-anal series spotlighting the reigning XBIZ Female Performer of the Year.
Scripted by Kayden Kross and co-starring Vicki Chase, April Olsen, Jax Slayher, Dante Colle, Alex Jones, Little Dragon, Maximo Garcia and Jason Luv, “Influence: Vanna Bardot” delves into the sultry underworld of organized crime, crypto scammers and the complex entanglement of personalities, sex and the power of influence.
"Working with Vanna and the entire crew was an incredible experience," director Derek Dozer said. "This is my biggest showcase to date, and it does not disappoint! I’ve known Vanna for a while now, and she has become one of the top stars in the business, bar none. Her performance from top to bottom, from her screen presence as an actress to the stellar sex scenes, was just phenomenal. The entire cast was simply stellar."
"Feed Me" and "Primary 3" will screen on Friday. "Reckless," "Machine Gunner," "How Women Orgasm" and "Influence: Vanna Bardot" will screen on Saturday.
