Screw Magazine Touts Revamped Site

MIAMI — Screw Magazine is touting the new retro look of its site.

“The new format mirrors our original print format from 1968 to 2003, featuring a newsprint-look, black-and-white photos, color art ‘cover designs’ and color in the center and on the back end,” said a rep. “The feedback from readers and performers alike has been so positive and encouraging that we have decided to keep the new format and have begun repopulating the new version with content dating as far back as our first issue in 1968.”

Screw publisher Phil Autelitano enthused about the new look.

"In a sea of online color, our new ‘old’ look is a nostalgic respite that brings readers back to a time when Srew Magazine was the first and best at what we do,” he said. “We've essentially gone back thirty-plus years to rediscover what once set us apart."
