LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support will host a free online support group, sponsored by Pornhub, to help performers on the autism spectrum.
The six-week Sex Work on the Spectrum support group will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Amy Studer and will begin on Tuesday at 9 a.m. PDT.
“This safe and nonjudgmental space offers practical insights and coping strategies tailored to the unique intersection of sex work and neurodivergence,” said Studer. “From establishing healthy boundaries and honing communication skills to building a support system, each week brings a new focus to empower participants.”
Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit added, “Pornhub has long been a supporter of the work we do, and I’m happy to have them behind such an important conversation. Navigating life as a performer on the autism spectrum can present unique challenges that can be difficult to manage alone. Access to stigma-free and sex-positive support for autistic performers is limited, so it’s imperative that we create a safe and inclusive experience to celebrate achievements, foster connections and set the stage for validation and professional growth.”
Sessions will last for around one hour and will take place online each Tuesday at the same time, until April 16.
