LOS ANGELES — Samantha Mack and Ryan Keely appear alongside Eminem in the superstar rapper’s comeback video “Houdini," released Tuesday.
At the beginning of the video, the present-day Eminem wakes up in his mansion with Mack and Keely on either side, before meeting Dr. Dre to confront a time-traveling Slim Shady who crossed through a sci-fi portal from 1999.
The video was directed by Rich Lee, with AI work by Metaphysic, and also features Dr. Dre and Pete Davidson, plus cameos by Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Jimmy Iovine, Grip, Westside Boogie, Denaun Porter, Royce 5’ 9”, Paul Rosenberg, The Alchemist, EZ Mil and Shane Gillis.
Mack described the elaborate shoot in an Instagram post as “beyond impressive” and enthused about the experience of working with Keely, whom she described as “so awesome to work with.”
“She is positive and energetic and incredibly supportive and her quick wit had me in stitches all day long,” Mack added. “She is truly beautiful inside and out.”
Mack also expressed gratitude for how her adoptive home of California has blessed her with so many opportunities, such as this high-profile mainstream shoot.
“These experiences fill my heart with gratitude and now that this video has been released, I can finally add this day on set to my list,” she concluded.
