BERLIN — Pjur is sponsoring Berlin's KiezTour, a noted tour of the city's queer district led by drag queen Margot Schlönzke, among others.
"In choosing to sponsor this organization, pjur is supporting another queer institution and promoting tolerance and acceptance — values that can’t always be taken for granted, even in modern society," said a rep. "Visitors get to take in legendary locations, explore quirky scene bars, snoop in fetish stores and sample local delicacies, all while journeying through the history of Berlin’s queer movement — from the founding years and the 'first German gay movement' to the golden '20s, life under a Nazi dictatorship, the iconic 1980s and the modern day."
Pjur CEO and founder Alexander Giebel enthused about the sponsorship.
"Diversity, inclusion, tolerance, empowerment and self-realization are important values for pjur," Giebel said. "We encourage everyone to embrace a sex life free from taboos. That’s why it’s so important for us to support organizations like Berlin’s KiezTour."
