LOS ANGELES — Beducasted has released a survey on the generational differences in libido.
The youngest age group, Gen Z (18-24), showed the highest proportion of respondents with lower libido at approximately 28.4%. The proportion of respondents reporting lower libido generally decreases with age, reaching its lowest in the age groups 35-49 and 50-64, both at 17.6%. There is a slight increase in the proportion of respondents reporting lower libido in the 65+ age group, at 19.0%.
“These findings suggest that younger adults, particularly those in Gen Z, are more likely to report lower libido compared to other age groups,” said Beducated founder Mariah Freya. “This trend of decreasing libido with age up to a certain point and a slight increase in older adults provides valuable insights for understanding the sexual well-being of different generations.”
