SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — MojoHost has successfully completed the upgrade and transition of all legacy VPS plans to its newest hardware platform.
The upgrade includes a transition from older Intel Xeon processors with SSD and HDD technology to AMD Ryzen processors paired with PCI 4.0 NVMe storage.
“This significant upgrade has been performed seamlessly during scheduled maintenance windows, with all customer accounts now running on the new platform,” a rep noted. “Customers will now benefit from over a 100% improvement in speed per CPU core and a 10 to 100 times the performance of underlying storage, providing a powerful boost to their hosting infrastructure.”
The upgrades were performed free of charge to all MojoHost’s customer VPS plans regardless of age.
“By leveraging high-speed AMD Ryzen processors, MojoHost ensures fewer tenants per VPS node, leading to faster and more reliable hosting for its customers,” the rep noted. “This focus on performance makes MojoHost’s VPS solutions unparalleled in speed and responsiveness. This upgrade is part of MojoHost’s ongoing mission to continually enhance its hosting services and deliver high-performance, reliable solutions tailored to the evolving needs of its customers.”
Company president Brad Mitchell said, "At MojoHost, we are committed to providing our customers with the best hosting solutions possible. This latest hardware upgrade is a testament to that commitment. By transitioning to AMD Ryzen processors and PCI 4.0 NVMe storage, we’ve more than doubled the speed per CPU core and significantly enhanced storage performance. We also maintain a higher standard by reducing the number of tenants per node compared to our competitors, offering our clients the fastest VPS solutions available globally. Our customers will see immediate benefits, from faster load times to a more stable and responsive hosting environment.
