MyAdultAttorney's Corey D. Silverstein to Hold Post-Election Legal Impact Webinar

DETROIT — Industry attorney Corey D. Silverstein will hold a “Legal Impact” webinar titled “We Have a New U.S. President: Legal and Community Implications” on Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. PST.

The session, sponsored by Sssh.com, will be moderated by ClaraKitty and will feature FSC Executive Director Alison Boden, industry advocate Savannah Sly and industry attorney Lawrence Walters.

After one of history’s most polarized U.S. elections and months of speculation, a rep explained, “It will be time to discuss what is to be expected for the adult industry with the new president. Regardless of what your role is in the adult entertainment industry and where you are located, the implications are going to be huge.”

Silverstein — who runs MyAdultAttorney.com and Adult.Law — said, “I have always tried to choose the Legal Impact Webinar subjects based on what the adult entertainment community wants to discuss the most. There is a lot of anxiety amongst industry members who want to talk about what may be coming under this new administration. This episode’s guests include some of the most knowledgeable minds when it comes to the intersection of politics and the law and I can’t wait for the event.”

Boden added, “No matter who wins the 2024 U.S. presidential election, there will be serious implications for the adult industry and adult content creators. I'm looking forward to this important and timely discussion.”

Walters explained that the results of the presidential election "could have lasting impacts on the adult entertainment industry and sex worker rights."

"We look forward to breaking down the fallout and preparing attendees for the new road ahead," Walters said.

Sly said, “Regardless of who wins this election, the adult industry will continue to operate on the shifting sands of policy and public opinion. As an advocate for sex workers' rights, I’m excited to gather with colleagues to strategize defenses for our freedoms and livelihoods.”
