LOS ANGELES — The Pelvic People has released Kiwi, a multipurpose vibrator designed for people who experience pain during sex.
Kiwi functions as both a vibrator and a massage tool, and its non-phallic, ergonomic design — which features two motors and a subtly waved surface — allows for different massage methods and increased stimulation.
The Pelvic People developed Kiwi with the input of nearly 100 pelvic specialists who had the shared goal of ending painful sex and promoting pelvic health.
Roughly 75% of women will have painful sex during their lifetime, according to Emily Sauer, CEO of The Pelvic People, who said Kiwi was designed to "bridge the gap" between "sex toy" and "medical device."
Kiwi comes with educational content, including guided videos, to promote conversation and knowledge about sexual health and wellness.
