LOS ANGELES — Performer Apollo Moon passed away on Sunday due to complications from a serious accident that left him on life support, according to his family. He was 25.
Moon began working in the adult industry in 2022. His IAFD entry lists six performances for prominent studios such as Grooby and Brazzers, among others.
A rising star, Moon was among the trans nominees at this year's XBIZ Creator Awards and had received multiple nominations from the Transgender Erotica Awards.
He also maintained an OnlyFans account where he performed solo and partnered scenes with all genders, in addition to creating customized content for fans.
Fans celebrated his life on social media, calling him "a beacon of trans joy" and mourning his death as "a devastating loss for the community."
"I can't believe it," Moon's friend Gigi Gandy wrote on Instagram. "You were just here. This does not feel real."
"Such a beautiful soul gone way too soon," added fellow performer Amanda Riley.
Moon had designated himself as an organ donor. The hospital that treated him will hold an honor walk in celebration of his life and his choice to help others, with the date and time to be determined.
