Segpay Adds SEPA Payment Solution

Segpay Adds SEPA Payment Solution

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Segpay has added a SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) option to its direct payments solutions.

SEPA enables merchants to accept payments directly from customer bank accounts in euros.

“SEPA payments offer merchants a fixed price for all transactions, making the price per transaction lower than for many typical card-based transactions,” said a rep. “Merchants can also experience a transactional volume boost while preserving existing credit card traffic. Lastly, SEPA payments are available to any Segpay merchant worldwide due to Segpay’s payment processing licenses.”

Added Segpay CEO Cathy Beardsley, “Merchants who’ve added access to SEPA have reported impressive results, including, in some cases, annual growth rates of more than ten percent. While results may vary, with SEPA’s higher conversion rates over traditional credit card payments, most merchants are able to increase successful transactions and decrease chargebacks, resulting in a positive impact on a merchant’s bottom line.”
