XBIZ Retreat Set to Return to Cabo San Lucas Aug. 25-29

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ Retreat is heading back to Cabo San Lucas for its LATAM edition, set for Aug. 25–29.

This year's XBIZ Retreat Cabo will once again bring together top retail decision-makers and vendors from around the globe at the luxurious Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort, where breathtaking ocean views, five-star accommodations, and high-level networking converge for an unparalleled business experience.

Attendees of last year's event such as Sex Shop Matamoros’ Polo Medina praised the event’s unique destination, also highlighting how it contributed to a productive, memorable experience.

“XBIZ Retreat Cabo left me with a good impression on how companies work together,” Medina shared. “The respect you see from all the vendors is something to admire because at the end, we are like a big family with relatives from all over the world, with one vision in common: the pleasure business.”

NS Novelties' international sales exec Luzoralia Acosta said, “I met new customers in Latin America I had not met before and was able to connect with existing customers in a much more relaxed environment.”

Guido Castro Molina of Chile’s Dominame sex shop added, “In Cabo, I felt a much more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for both sharing and doing business. The energy from the vendors and everyone in general was amazing, and it was so contagious! I loved that vibe!”

Rolando Gamez, founder of Mexican distributor Distribuciones-BES, noted, “What I liked the most about XBIZ Retreat Cabo was I could meet with Latin-American colleagues that I normally do not see at other shows.”

“The atmosphere is what I enjoy most about the XBIZ Retreat in Los Cabos,” said Alejandra Preciado, the buyer for Fantasías Boutique in Tijuana, Mexico. “Conducting business in a relaxed environment certainly paves the way for casual conversations and allows for a fresh perspective on business. The one-on-one appointments in the suites provide me with a completely different approach than attending traditional trade shows in large venues. The personal and human touch is what really stands out.”

Efren Mendez from Love Store Mexicali shared why he appreciated the international participation in XBIZ Retreat Cabo.

“What I love the best about XBIZ Retreat is that it brings together companies from all over the world to showcase their products,” he said. “Because they are based internationally, I learn more about their logistics, trends and challenges, which gives me a better understanding of business in other parts of the world. It’s often the case that trends start in Europe and then trickle down to the U.S. and Latin America.”

Blush Director of Marketing Ian Kulp also commended XBIZ Retreat Cabo for its ability to boost industry connections.

“This event fostered meaningful conversations and provided us with fresh insights to guide our future partnerships,” he said.

Kristyn Clarke, the manager and buyer for His & Hers Couples Boutique, added, “Having the chance to connect in person with various vendors in a very relaxed one-on-one environment gave us a chance to chat in-depth about their products and how they would work best for our retail locations.”

Another attendee, Holiday Products sales executive Chris Armstrong, said that XBIZ Retreat Cabo helped him meet his goals of nurturing existing relationships and making new contacts.

“I love networking, especially in the Latin community,” he said. “It’s like a big family.”

TW Trade Wholesale Account Executive Jassmine Cudney added, “XBIZ Retreat Cabo has set a new standard, and we look forward to continuing the connections and opportunities it has sparked.”

XBIZ Retreat Cabo will feature its signature one-on-one meetings, curated networking events, and evening socials that take full advantage of the stunning setting. With an all-inclusive format, attendees can focus on building meaningful business relationships — while also soaking up the local culture and scenery.
