SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Ariel Demure was a guest at a University of California, Santa Barbara, media studies class on pornography led by Prof. Constance Penley.
Onstage at the campus' Pollock Theater, a portion of "Gorgons & Goddesses" was shown before she fielded questions from the student audience about the release, her time in adult, and work as a trans performer, among other topics.
“It was such an honor to be onstage at a prestigious university talking about my career, film, and the state of trans women in the country right now," said Demure. "Prof. Penley and her students were very welcoming and had some really thoughtful questions for me.”
