LOS ANGELES — Zazie Skymm and Dakota Dove star in the latest release from MixedX, titled “Unboxing Hearts.”
Written and directed by studio principal Christina Shine, the scene opens with stepsisters Skymm and Dove on a weekend getaway to repair their strained relationship.
“Unbeknownst to them, the mysterious organizer they hired has crafted an intricate plan of challenges meant to bring them closer,” the synopsis reveals. “What begins as a weekend of tension and bickering soon transforms into a journey of self-discovery, as the sisters uncover a package that guides them to explore their bond in unexpected ways.”
Shine enthused about the scene.
“'Unboxing Hearts' is about the surprising connections that can arise when we least expect it,” she said. “I wanted to capture that raw, vulnerable moment when two people, even stepsisters, can find common ground and fall in love with the idea of each other — not just as family, but as individuals with shared experiences.”
