LOS ANGELES — Isabella De Laa and Cherry Candle star in the latest release from MixedX, titled “Between Us.”
Written and directed by studio principal Christina Shine, the scene centers on “tech investor Isabella and her influencer girlfriend, Cherry, spending a day in emotional warfare, manipulation, and cold honesty,” the synopsis reveals. “Isabella controls with money and power, while Cherry plays the beautiful muse. As their toxic dance of power unravels, love gives way to harsh truths, and by day’s end, Cherry is ready to walk away, leaving Isabella to confront her worst fear, reality.”
Shine enthused about the scene.
“‘Between Us’ is a story about the illusions we build and the consequences when those illusions shatter,” she said. “It’s about power, control and the complexity of desire. The performances from Cherry and Isabella capture the raw emotion and tension of this battle between love and manipulation.”
