PASS to Relaunch Performer Subsidy Fund

PASS to Relaunch Performer Subsidy Fund

LOS ANGELES — PASS has announced that it will relaunch the Performer Subsidy Fund (PSF) to cover sexually transmitted infection (STI) test panel costs for up to 10 people each month.

Eligibility requirements include being an active PASS member — membership is free, indicating financial need, testing at a PASS certified testing partner site, and not having received a subsidized test within the past six months.

“The PSF was first started in 2012 by adult film producers looking to subsidize the cost of STI testing for talent,” said a rep. “This relaunch was made possible thanks to a substantial investment by Brazzers.”

Added PASS Executive Director Ian O’Brien, “The STI testing standards for our industry are critical to maintaining our health, but the expense can be prohibitively burdensome. We’re incredibly grateful for this investment from Brazzers to make testing more accessible. The ability to access preventative care is an essential part of a working health system. Our dream is to one day be able to fully subsidize the cost of testing for everyone who needs it.”
