Hooters Air Expands Fleet, Destinations

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Hooters Air said Saturday it has expanded its fleet and is flying to more cities.

The airline, which is staffed by Hooters Girls, added its fifth aircraft and will now be flying into Chicago.

It now flys to Baltimore/Washington; Columbus, Ohio; Ft. Myers, Fla.; Myrtle Beach, Fla; Newark, N.J., Chicago and Nassau in the Bahamas. Flights start at $99 roundtrip.

"Watch for more exciting destinations for Hooters Air," Hooters Air President Mark Peterson said.

The Boeing 737- 300 aircraft, configured with 132 dark blue leather seats that offer extra leg room, will be put into service today.

Hooters of America Inc. is the franchiser and operator of more than 360 Hooters restaurants in 44 states and 11 foreign countries. The first Hooters opened in 1983 in Clearwater, Fla.
