PurpleDollars: What Do Women Want?

WOOLLOONGABBA, Australia -- Affiliate program PurpleDollars.com and its erotica content site For The Girls have launched an official industry survey to find out what women look for in a porn site.

According to the company’s marketing guru and part-owner, KarenJ, in exchange for information from the site’s female members on their habits and needs, For The Girls will award prizes to those who participate.

For The Girls was launched based on the idea that there is an enormous and untapped market for porn that interests women. According to Nielsen Net Ratings, 9.4 million women surfed porn sites in September 2003 alone.

Looking to expand on content aimed directly at women, for women, PurpleDollars and partnership program For The Girls are asking users a simple question: What do women really want?

“We want to know more about what women want from sexually explicit material,” said KarenJ. “When 30 percent of porn site surfers are female, that’s vital information.”

The survey and competition will run throughout the month of June and offers its revenue share program through CCBill. For The Girls also offers members free hosted websites and galleries.

“Women love competitions, so we expect it will add another incentive to join our site,” KarenJ said. “We’ve also created special banners so our affiliates can promote the giveaway.”
