2000Charge Adds European Debit Program

PASADENA, Calif. – Looking to capitalize on direct access to 150 million online European consumers, 2000Charge said it added a direct debit program there.

The e-commerce processor said it is accepting debit transactions from Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Italy and the United Kingdom that withdraws funds directly from European bank accounts.

2000Charge merchants selling products overseas can benefit from easy shopping cart integration, the company said.

“Our goal is always to make sure our customers have the proper technical interfaces available to expand their services to the European market,” a company spokesman said.
