Mason previously directed her own line of films for Elegant Angel with titles such as “Internally Yours,” as well as the “Lady Fellatio” and “Mason’s Dirty Trixxx” series.
She later directed for Platinum X Pictures with the “Mason’s Sexual Disorder” and “Mason’s Riot Sluts” series.
"Her movies have a little bit of spit involved,” said Kat Slater, Hustler Video’s vice president of production. “It's all about the context. And Mason's got a whole lot of context. I’ve admired her work for years.”
The wall-to-wall director is slated to direct one movie a month; terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"I've reached a stage in my career where I need to be productive and Hustler Video has given me the opportunity to shoot every month," Mason said of the signing. "Hustler gives me the creative freedom.”
Larry Flynt Publications Inc. has ramped up production efforts this year as it adds video-on-demand unit HustlerVOD.com and content for North American and Asian mobile phone operations.
