The free screening celebrates the 40th anniversary of "Boogie Nights" production company New Line Cinema (now a unit of Time Warner) and the relaunch of the NewLine.com website, and is sponsored by Dewar’s, the Rolling Roadshow Tour, and LA Weekly.
The film will be shown at 8:25 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Kessab Banquet Hall at 18407 Sherman Way, Reseda, Calif., which was the location for the Hot Traxx disco in the film.
An after-party will follow the screening, inside the Kessab Banquet Hall. Members of the cast are expected to attend, and the Dirk Diggler prosthetic prop will be on display.
Several of the film's major scenes take place in the half-mile stretch of Sherman Way between Reseda Boulevard and Lindley Avenue.
VIP tickets, with guaranteed seating, a souvenir poster and admission to the after party, are $25 and can be ordered here.
