The DVD features step-by-step demonstrations of several CalExotics' best-selling vibrators, as well as a series of eight commercials highlighting some of the company's newest vibes.
CalExotics Marketing Director Al Bloom told XBIZ that the DVD can be used not only to educate storeowners, buyers and sales clerks of new products — information which can be relayed to customers looking for something new — but is also an interactive way to vamp up store displays.
Bloom, who produced "Vibe 101," also said the commercials can be set to loop, so storeowners can showcase all eight products by pressing a single button. Each commercial features models discussing and simulating the use of each product in short vignettes.
Toy Time's "Vibe 101" also is made to be a consumer guide, Bloom said. Several vignettes and simulated in-store seminars, hosted by acting CalExotics representatives, explain the functions of the myriad of bullets, rabbits and vibrating rings stocking store shelves.
Viewers get a good look at each toy, shown out of the packaging, as representatives describe their functions, and the anatomy they target.
