The informal poll asked readers, "What do you normally do on long-haul flights?" Of the 2,712 who responded, 1,247 said they read books and newspapers and more than 540 said they preferred "watching sex films" over "decent" ones.
VNExpress conducted the poll after it reported that two Vietnamese businessmen were asked to turn off their portable movie player when a female passenger noticed they were watching a pornographic film and complained.
Watching mainstream, nonsexual films in flight is reportedly preferred over adult films by only 400 of long-distance air travelers that were surveyed.
