Titled "The Perils of Paulina," the film is based on the 1967 film "The Perils of Pauline." James described her version of the movie as following the main character as she transforms from an innocent do-gooder to a sexually aware, rebellious woman.
"It's kind of like my life story right now," James told XBIZ. "When I started in the business, I was doing 'Barely Legal' young girl stuff, which I still do for my website. But now as I'm getting older I feel more sexy and very intimate with my body and aware of my sexuality."
"The Perils of Paulina" also marks James' first on-camera anal scene, which she will share with adult star Evan Stone.
Though she has had anal sex only a few times in the past, she enjoys it and looks forward to seeing what it's like in front of a camera crew.
"I know a lot of my fans on my website want to see me do anal, so I think that it will be a good thing," James said.
