The contest, held throughout the last two weeks of August, allowed visitors to visit the movie’s blog to view pictures of the lead performer with his face blurred out, and then guess at the adult celebrity’s identity. Entries were taken online.
The star of the release turned out to be Buckshot Man and COLT exclusive Danny Roddick, which was announced on the blog on Friday.
Chosen at random from participants that guessed Roddick’s identity correctly, contest winners will be announced Tuesday. The grand-prize winner will receive an iPhone loaded with content from the movie. Other winners will receive DVDs and props from the production.
In an agreement between AMG owner Dennis Bell and COLT owner John Rutherford, Roddick was loaned out for the first blockbuster title to be released under the AMG Brasil imprint.
“Amazônia: Capture” and “Amazônia: Release” was shot on location in the Brazilian rainforest over seven days in the beginning of August with local performers Lucas Ramiro, Renzo Castelli, Will Castelo, Yago Mendoça, Ricardo Onça, Oliver Lima, Peterson Corriera and Leandro Pitanga.
“These guys have been begging me for months to bring an American,” Bell said. “When they saw Danny they couldn’t keep their hands off of him. It was the perfect match; these guys were all over him and he was in heaven with all of these hard-bodied Latin men fawning over him. The attraction is powerful even on film.”
The “Amazônia” set will be available for pre-order on the AMG website Sept. 5.
