"Italian Stallion" originally was released in 1970 under the title "The Party at Kitty and Stud's" and also stars Henrietta Holm. According to the International Movie Database, Stallone was paid $200 for his role in the film.
"He really wanted the 'Rocky' movie to be made so bad he made this one," Arrow Productions' Robert Interlandi told XBIZ. "He even wore the 'Rocky' outfits in this title."
The film starts showing in New York on Sept. 14. A full schedule will be released shortly.
Bryantson Releasing and Arrow Productions have released both adult and mainstream titles such as "Deep Throat," "Devil in Miss Jones" and "Return of the Dragon." Most recently, the company has promoted energy drinks embossed with the "Deep Throat" movie poster.
