XRWholesale Releases 100% Silicone Butt Plug Line

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Fetish specialty retailer eXtreme Restraints has released its first line of 100-percent silicone butt plugs, offering customers a higher-scale alternative to its current collection.

XR President Ari Suss said that he wanted to improve the company's latex Anal Trainer Kit by offering kits featuring products made of platinum silicone to offer a more hygienic and durable alternative to traditional jelly-like material.

"We wanted to make a premium classic butt plug," Suss said, "so we invested $10,000 into converting them to 100-percent platinum silicone."

XR's James Medina told XBIZ that the company felt it should provide customers the option of a higher-quality version of a product that already is a best seller.

"Plenty will choose the silicone option, and we're glad to offer that choice," Medina said. "It's really just a natural reaction to the phthalate and hygiene concerns that have been gaining prominence."

The new butt plugs range in price from $20-$33, according to size. The first collection contains 1,000 pieces designed with a narrow neck, which Suss said is intended to be comfortable for long-term wear.

Medina said the line will be available at XRWholesale.com Tuesday morning. He also said the products are not branded, allowing other retail sites to market them as they see fit.
