AEBN Nabs Hyde Park's 'Twink Dreams' Exclusive VOD

PHOENIX — Hyde Park Productions and AEBN have entered into a deal that gives AEBN full exclusive video-on-demand broadcasting rights to Hyde Park’s just-released movie "Twink Dreams." AEBN will feature "Twink Dreams" early next week on its VOD site.

“We know that it is an unusual move for us to have both the in-store video release for 'Twink Dreams' at the same time it is offered via AEBN’s video-on-demand," director Doug Knight said.

"As our DVD sales grow stronger, we have also noticed an uptick in customers who wish only to use VOD services. In looking at that data, we felt the time was right for retail and VOD customers to receive access to 'Twink Dreams' at the same time. We also believe that our in-store video sales of 'Twink Dreams' will be increased due to VOD customers desiring to purchase the actual DVD of 'Twink Dreams.'”

“Hyde Park Productions has been one of our strongest studios in the twink market over the past few years,” said Chris Baker, AEBN’s gay content director. “We’re honored that they’re releasing this to us exclusively, and I know that it will be a hit for both of us.”

"Twink Dreams," filmed in the Pikes Peak area of Colorado, is Hyde Park’s twinkish version of Shakespeare’s "A Mid Summer Night’s Dream" and stars Ryan Meyers, Jamie Knight and Jon Jameson. Also featuringLuke Hendricks, Vince Broadway, Chris O’Conner and Brian Payne, "Twink Dreams" clocks in at over two hours for the main disc with 45 minutes of interviews and behind-the-scenes footage on the bonus disc.

Twink Dreams, Hyde Park’s 18th video release, will be distributed exclusively by White Tiger Releasing.
