Vulva Original Provides Fantasy Scent

COLOGNE, Germany — Online adult retailer Vivaeros Special Products has introduced Vulva Original, a vaginally based scent “which stimulates and compliments erotic fantasies.” Marketed specifically as “not a perfume,” the company suggests that Vulva Original is for the consumer’s personal sensual pleasure.

According to the Vulva website, the product concept was developed by company market researchers and product designers. Recognizing that many adult products already catered to the senses of touch, taste, sight and sound, the Vivaeros team sought to fill the olfactory gap.

The site goes on to say that a group of European scientists worked to develop the highly concentrated vaginal scent.

Packaged in a pocket-sized glass vial with an applicator cap, the company suggests that Vulva Original be applied in small amounts to the back of the hand, and then the aroma breathed in to stimulate and enhance erotic experiences.

“Men then can not only satisfy their needs more intensely during self-stimulation,” the website said, “but women can also use this erotic substance in order to intensify the sensation of smell during intercourse.”

A vial of Vulva Original retails for approximately $28, plus shipping and handling.

The scent is recommended for external application only.

Two more vaginally-based scents also are being developed by Vivaeros; Vulva Eighteen and Vulva Exotic.

The company also offers T-shirts and women’s panties with the Vulva logo at SmellMeAnd.com.
